Our Rotaract Club is compose of mostly college students but have some of the chartering members as professionals. Mostly, they were just new graduates and still hungry for the real life. And to count off, we are just a group of individuals as the professionals focus to their fields. We almost gave up the club as we struggle in building its foundation. For instance, as a college student, we aim to focus with social and academics and with the complications of schedules, the club can't manage to fund itself.
But then, as the RY 2012-2013 ends, a group of students found Rotaract not just a club but a new hope for life. They are from the Interact Club of LBNHS, most were graduates and new freshman in college. It's a first in our recruitment to see individuals that are eager to join a club. They promised to become committed to Rotaract and fulfill the responsibility of an Rotaractor. Even though they saw how vulnerable our club before them, they still embraced the possibility of volunteerism and life in it.
With all the distraction and priorities in oneself, there still exist young volunteers who are willing to dedicate and give hope to their community despite all the barriers that surrounds them. With that, we'll continue to produce more productive young leaders for a better world.
